Workation Chronicles: Day 5 on the Diamond Princess
Hello , Greetings from the high seas! It’s Day 5 of my 21-day Diamond Princess Cruise, and today, we’ve berthed at Alotau in Milne Bay, Papua New Guinea. While many passengers are heading ashore, I’m taking this time to soak in the views, drink a coffee, and write this newsletter. The food? Incredible—so much so that I'm going to bring home a couple of extra kilos! Although, I’m trying hard to balance it out with a daily gym session and plenty of stair-climbing between decks. The ship's movement has been surprisingly smooth—a bit like being on a long-haul flight, but without the turbulence. So far, no seasickness! The crew is phenomenal—a diverse team from all over the world, always friendly, always helpful. Between gourmet meals, world-class entertainment, and the occasional bit of work, this truly feels like the best of both worlds. Next stop: Manila!
